REMINDER: End of Support Life of Silk K2 Gen5 Arrays

    Dear Customers,

    This is a reminder that the End of Support Life for the Silk K2 Gen5 arrays is December 31, 2022.  After this date, Silk will no longer generate automated cases and will not be accepting cases regarding the support on troubleshooting of these arrays.  Here are more details around this statement:

    What does ‘End of Support Life’ mean:

    • Software & Hardware support contracts can no longer be renewed 
    • Silk will not offer any “Time and Materials” or PS engagements for Gen5 arrays
    • Hardware parts and batteries can no longer be replaced
    • Silk/Tech Data support team can no longer assist with support cases related to Gen5 Array, no exceptions. 
    • There are no third party vendors who offer support services for Kaminario/Silk Gen5 arrays
    • Gen5 systems can be replaced with new Silk Generation6 arrays for a limited time. Promotional pricing extended to all Gen5 customers - Contact your CSM (Hayley.beck@silk.us) for more information as soon as possible.
